SmartCatch transforms CCTV camera systems from passive assessment tools to active monitoring systems. By leveraging existing camera infrastructures, AgilityVideo can provide sophisticated detection capabilities on a large scale at reasonable cost.

AgilityVideo’s core technology was developed in a pioneering research project at NEC Labs. Vidient Systems was founded in 2003 to integrate the technology into commercial solutions. Today, the resulting SmartCatch software is deployed worldwide in rail transit systems, major airports, water supply systems, and other critical infrastructure sites.
