SmartCatch Alert Viewer 3.0 is both comprehensive and simple for monitoring security personnel alerts. SmartCatch Alert Viewer receives alerts and alert video clips, monitors live cameras, and escalates, tracks and reports on alerts based on behavioral analysis of video within a facility or on a perimeter. Used in conjunction with SmartCatch Server and SmartCatch Analytics, SmartCatch Alert Viewer provides security personnel with specific information to achieve true situational awareness of a facility monitored by SmartCatch.
Upon recognition of a suspicious behavior, SmartCatch Server generates and disseminates an alert message to a pre-configured group of security operators. Each alert message contains a replay of the alert video, a live video feed from the applicable camera, and the date, time, location and cause of the alert. Security personnel can accept the alert, forward it to others, escalate it or enter resolution information all with a few keystrokes and clicks of the mouse. SmartCatch’s automated response management can respond to the incident by following predefined policies and procedures. With the Alert Viewer, alerts can appear as pop-up windows, as a textual display in a ticker window, or as a color coded icon on a site map, allowing flexibility and ease of use for operations staff.
Security personnel can receive SmartCatch alerts through most standard communications devices. SmartCatch Alert Viewer is available as both a browser-based client and a Windows client, allowing it to operate on all computing devices that support browsers. SmartCatch delivers alarms directly to email addresses, SMS locations and handheld wireless devices without running the SmartCatch Alert Viewer. Licensed with SmartCatch Analytics at a particular site, any number of the SmartCatch Alert Viewer licenses may be operated simultaneously. Additionally, the Alert Viewer can automatically gather feedback on system performance and present this information in a set of prepackaged reports.
With its intuitive user interface, security operators can train to use the SmartCatch Alert Viewer in minutes. The system provides easy-to-understand icons, easy access to alert video clips and other alert data, and easily performed alert response tasks. Online help is accessible at the click of a Help button on any screen. The user can customize the interface by moving and resizing windows.
